Transform Your Dog's Behavior with Redditch Dog Training

We offer one-to-one dog training sessions in the comfort of you own home, for dogs in and around Redditch. These sessions are totally tailored to you and your dogs personal training needs. We will focus on any issues you are experiencing with your dogs behaviour, using positive training methods only. These sessions are typically 1.5hrs and we will leave you with your own personalised dedicated training plan.

We specialise in working with dogs who have reactive issues, mainly those who are reactive to other dogs. We can also do training for help with:

• Separation anxiety
• Lead training
• Recall training
• Nervousness of strangers or new environments 
• Much more

We will come to your home and begin with a consultation. This is when we will discuss all the issues you’re having. We’ll then begin a practical session, so hopefully we can see the behaviour first hand and show you some training tips. After this, we will work together to build a training plan for you, your family and your dog to work on.

Our classes are held on a Monday evening at Winyates Green Community Centre

Under 6 months - 5.30 - 6.15pm

6 - 12 months - 6.15 - 7pm

The puppy groups are from 12 weeks once fully vaccinated. Obedience groups are all mixed ability, for all ages and very light-hearted. We welcome all the family along and love to include our child handlers.

We cover the basics of sit, down and stand stay, heel on and off lead, recall, retrieve, food refusal and more. All in an easy and fun way.

The group is not meant to make anyone a Crufts champion, but just to create a stronger bond between owner and dog.

Whether your new pup or senior dog need some extra training, there is bound to be something for you. It’s regularly updated with videos, hints and other tips about training your dog, no matter their age!

Our step-by-step and demonstration videos are easy to follow and understand, so while our training groups and classes are on hold, you have something to help you carry on with your dog obedience and training.

These workshops are designed in a small group setting to help people who may be struggling with their dogs' selective deafness, building the confidence to let their dog off lead and who are finding letting their dog off for a run more stressful than enjoyable.

These sessions cover topics such as :-

• Proven techniques and games that are effective for recall training
• Understanding your dog's thought process and how to use that to your advantage
• Practising recall around distractions
• Building trust in your relationship
• Learning how to be the more interesting for your dog

These workshops are designed in a small group setting to help people who may be struggling with taking their dogs out for a walk due to pulling, weaving and having lack of control, Unfortunately these behaviours can make walking your dog less enjoyable and make them feel more like a chore than for pleasure.

These sessions cover topics such as :-

• Peeking your dog's interest and working on eye contact
• Helping them understand how to focus on you rather than anyone else
• Building better relationships
• Keeping calm
• Working around other distractions
