Redditch Dog Training

For the last 10 years I have worked with rescue animals and my passion for them drove me further into exploring different training methods and the psychology behind the different species, I wanted to gain more understanding so I could comfort them when they looked so totally baffled by the new situation they had found themselves in and reacted out of fear and anxiety.

By this point I had also convinced my husband to adopt one of our foster dogs who came with a host of her own issues. This made me even more determined to understand dog behaviour and which training methods would help with her reactions towards other dogs.

I threw myself into my studies and completed multiple courses such as Level 4 Diploma in Canine Behaviour, Advanced Certificate Canine Reactive Behaviour, IMDT - Canine Aggression and Rehabilitation – I won’t bore you with the rest but the list is ever growing.

Growing up my love for animals has always been strong but until I had my human babies it remained in the background as I pursued my working career in Psychology and Educational Training. Over the last 10 years I have been lucky enough to work in my dream role as a Dog Walker and Trainer and I can honestly say I have loved every minute of working with clients and dogs to help them achieve an even greater bond.

Being in the position we are now where we have been able to take on another 3 amazing dog trainers with the exact same passion, drive and commitment I couldn’t be more excited for Redditch Dog Training’s journey and how many more families we are going to be able to help.

Our only goal in this business is to be able to help people understand their pooches better and live happier together at an affordable rate for everyone.
